Front Street was closed off for Lahaina Halloween this year, which meant thousands of costumed people safely and comfortably roaming the street in search of the best, funniest and weirdest costumes. The official Halloween costume contest was held in Banyan Tree Park, where hundreds of people lined up to walk the stage and have their costumes judged. A few of this year’s highlights included a “Thriller” dancing flash mob, a fully functioning Daft Punk and Deadmau5 DJ set, human bug spray chasing around human bees, and a giant robot.
